Aedra

The Aedra are a race of divine creatures from The Elder Scrolls universe. The singular term for one of these beings is an "Aedroth". The Aedra are the product of the blood of both Padomay and his ancient antithesis, Anu.[1]  In Altmeri (High-Elven), Aedra means "Ancestors", because they were believed by the Elves to be the ancestors of the Mer, and the creators of the world of Nirn.

Aedry - fikcyjne stworzenia z serii gier The Elder Scrolls. Aedry powstały z połączonej krwi Anu i Padomay. Jedna z Aedr, Lorkhan, podstępnie namówił pozostałe Aedry do stworzenia śmiertelnego świata poprzez wyssanie z nich części sił życiowych. Okazało się to tragiczne w skutkach, gdyż ogromna ilość ich mocy została wessana do świata śmiertelników. Aedry wyznaje Kult Dziewięciu, propagowany przez cesarstwo. Po czynie Lorkhana Aedry są śmiertelne (co je różni od Daedr), ale mogą umrzeć tylko od obrażeń bądź magii. Mają moc tworzenia.
