.ADCCP is an
ANSI
standard derived from
IBM
's
synchronous data link control
(SDLC) and is virtually identical to the ISO
high level data link control
(HDLC) standard.ADCCP has 3 main modes - NRM (Normal Response mode akin to SDLC), ABM (Asyncronous Balanced mode - akin to HDLC) and ARM (Asynchronous Response mode)
