Founded in 1932, Advance Auto Parts ( NYSE: AAP), headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, is the second-largest retailer of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the United States. AAP had 2005 sales of approx. $4.62B via more than 3,000 stores and with the work of some 43,000 employees.
