Act of Union may be an act that refers to:

• Laws in Wales Acts 1535–1542, passed by the Parliament of England, annexing Wales to England, sometimes known as the "Acts of Union"
• Tender of Union, (Act of Union 1652‎), annexation of Scotland by the Commonwealth of England
• Acts of Union 1707, passed by both the Parliament of England and the Parliament of Scotland to form the Kingdom of Great Britain
• Acts of Union 1800, passed by both the Parliament of Great Britain and the Parliament of Ireland to form the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland

L'Atto di Unione (in inglese Act of Union) è il nome dato a diversi atti passati dai parlamenti, inglese, scozzese e britannico, a partire dal 1536. Tra questi troviamo:

• Atto di Unione (1536), unisce l'Inghilterra e il Galles (come Inghilterra)
• Atto di Unione (1707) unisce Scozia e Inghilterra (a formare la Gran Bretagna)
• Atto di Unione (1800) unisce l'Irlanda alla Gran Bretagna (a formare il Regno Unito)
• Atto di Unione (1840) unisce Alto Canada e Basso Canada (a formare la Provincia del Canada).

L'Atto d'Unione del 1800 fuse il Regno d'Irlanda ed il Regno di Gran Bretagna (il quale era a sua volta, risultato dell' unione tra Inghilterra e Galles e la Scozia sancita nel 1707) creando così il Regno Unito di Gran Bretagna e Irlanda, con effetto dal 1 gennaio 1801. L'atto ricevette il Royal Assent il 1 agosto 1800.
