"Acrobat" is the eleventh track from U2's 1991 album, Achtung Baby. Although a fan favorite, it is the only song from the album that was never played live. It can, however, be heard on recordings of the Zoo TV: Outside Broadcast Tour rehearsals in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It features an unusual time signature and has The Edge playing a heavily distorted tremolo. "Acrobat" deals with the themes of helplessness and broken relationships, and can be seen as the culmination of a maritial lament first told in "Ultraviolet (Light My Way)".
