ABY è l'acronimo per After the Battle of Yavin, "dopo la battaglia di Yavin" ed è un marcatore temporale per le date utilizzato nell'universo fantastico di Guerre Stellari.Questo sistema di datazione è usato quasi esclusivamente dalla Nuova Repubblica (Alleanza Ribelle). L'Impero Galattico usava un sistema di datazione che partiva dalla Grande Risincronizzazione (35 BBY), o da quando l'imperatore Palpatine, precedentemente Cancelliere, salì al potere cancellando la Repubblica (19 BBY). La  Vecchia Repubblica datava invece gli eventi a partire dalla Riforma Ruusan (1000 BBY).
