Absolute Pressure

Pressure (symbol: p) is the force  per unit area  applied on a surface in a direction perpendicular to that surface.Gauge pressure is the pressure relative to the local atmospheric or ambient pressure.Pressure is the amount of force that presses on a certain area. If you make the force on an are bigger, you increase the pressure on the area. Making the area smaller and keeping the force the same also increases the pressure. 08:24, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
