Abd Allah ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib
‎ (545-570) was the father of Muhammad, a prophet of Islam. He was the son of Shaiba ibn Hashim (`Abd al-Muttalib), and was married to Aminah bint Wahab. He died on a caravan trip between Medina and Mecca.He was famed for his beauty. His name included the word Allah before Islam was founded. During the period before Islam, pagan Arabs called God as Allah in Arabic (and in Aramaic).His full lineage is: عبدالله بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم بن عبد مناف بن قصي بن كلاب بن مرة بن كعب بن لؤي بن غالب بن فهر بن مالك بن النضر بن كنانة بن خزيمة بن مدركة بن إلياس بن مضر بن نزار بن معد بن عدنان
