Abbotsford International Airport
Abbotsford International Airport is located in the City of AbbotsfordBritish ColumbiaCanada, 2.2 nautical miles (4.0 km) southwest of the city centre. The airport is the second largest airport in the Lower Mainland after Vancouver International Airport (YVR), is the only other airport to host major airlines and functions as a reliever for YVR. Otherwise, the Abbotsford airport caters mostly to the general aviation community. In 2006, YXX was Canada's sixth busiest airport with 159,822 aircraft movements. In total, 393,000 passengers went through Abbotsford International Airport in 2005, followed by 502,634 passengers in 2006.
