Abbeville ([] dt. „Stadt des Abtes“) ist eine französische Gemeinde im Département Somme in der Region Picardie. Sie ist Bezirkshauptstadt (sous-préfecture) des gleichnamigen Arrondissement. Die etwa 25.700 Einwohner nennen sich Abbevillois.

Abbeville
Abbeville är en stad i regionen Picardie i norra Frankrike vid floden Somme. Huvudort i departementet Somme. Abbeville ligger 15 km från Engelska kanalen och 45 km från Amiens. Omkring 25 000 invånare. Abbeville omnämns första gången på 800-talet då det tillhörde klosterkyrkan Saint-Riquier. Det utgjorde därefter den viktigaste staden i grevskapet Monthieu.

Abbéville [czyt. abwil] - miejscowość i gmina we Francji, w regionie Pikardia, w departamencie Somme.
Według danych na rok 1990 gminę zamieszkiwało 23 787 osób, a gęstość zaludnienia wynosiła 900 osób/km² (wśród 2293 gmin Pikardii Abbeville plasuje się na 8. miejscu pod względem liczby ludności, natomiast pod względem powierzchni na miejscu 31.).
Miasto nad rzeką Sommą, 24 km od jej ujścia do kanału La Manche; przemysł spożywczy, maszynowy, włókienniczy, elektrotechniczny; port.
