Abbadia Lariana is a
comune (municipality) in the
Province of Lecco in the
Italian region
Lombardy, located about 50 km northeast of
Milan and about 8 km northwest of
Lecco. As of
31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,209 and an area of 17.1 km².The municipality of Abbadia Lariana contains the
frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Borbino, Onedo, San Rocco, Chiesa Rotta, Novegolo, Castello, Robianico, Molini, Linzanico, Crebbio, and Lombrino e Zana.Abbadia Lariana borders the following municipalities:
Ballabio,
Lecco,
Mandello del Lario,
Oliveto Lario,
Valbrona.
