Adrian & the Mysterious D
DJs Adrian & the Mysterious D (née Adrian and Deidre Roberts) – a.k.a. A plus D – are widely recognized as the DJ duo who helped bring mashup and bootleg culture to America. Based in San Francisco, the couple started club Bootie in 2003, the first mashup bootleg party in the United States. In 2005, they started a sister Bootie club in Los Angeles, and in 2007, launched Bootie parties in New York City and Paris.

Anno Domini (), abbreviated as AD or A.D., defines an epoch based on the traditionally reckoned year of the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth. AD is also an abbreviation for Christian Era. Similarly, Before Christ (from the Ancient Greek "Christos" or "Anointed One", referring to Jesus), abbreviated as BC or B.C., is used in the English language to denote years before the start of this epoch.
