ATM card
An ATM card (also known as a bank card, client card, or cash card) is an ISO 7810 card issued by a bankcredit union or building society.Its primary uses are:at an ATM for deposits, withdrawals, account information, and other types of transactions, often through interbank networksat a branch, as identification for in-person transactionsat merchants, for EFTPOS (point of sale) purchasesUnlike a debit card, an ATM card can only be used for transactions in person (and not by telephone, fax or internet), as it requires authentication through a personal identification number or PIN. In other words, it cannot be used at merchants that only accept credit cards.
