ATI Technologies
ATI Technologies Inc. was a semiconductor technology corporation based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, that specialized in the development of graphics processing units and chipsets. Founded in 1985 as Array Technologies Inc., the company was listed publicly in 1993 and was acquired by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in 2006. As a major fabrication-less or fabless semiconductor company, ATI conducted research and development in-house and outsourced the manufacturing and assembly of its products. ATI and its chief rival Nvidia emerged as the two dominant players in the graphics processors industry, eventually forcing other manufacturers into niche roles.

ATI Technologies
ATI Technologies Inc. (kurz ATI) mit Hauptsitz in Markham wurde 1985 von K.Y. Ho (CEO bis 2004), Benny Lau und Lee Lau, alle Drei Auswanderer aus Hongkong, mit einem Startkapital von 300.000 US$ gegründet. Das Unternehmen ist nicht mit dem US-amerikanischen Montanunternehmen Allegheny Technologies zu verwechseln, dessen börsenrechtliche Abkürzung ebenso ATI lautet.

Ati är en stad i Tchad. Den var Tchads tolfte största stad enligt 1993 års folkräkning, med 17 772 invånare. År 2006 uppskattades folkmängden till 24 074. Folkmängden 2010 har beräknats till 26 457 invånare.

ATI Technologies (förkortning av de engelska orden Array Technologies Incorporated) är ett kanadensiskt företag grundat 1985 som utvecklar och tillverkar grafiska lösningar till datorer och tv-spel, bl.a. Nintendo GameCube, samt Wii och Xbox 360. Företaget ATI är en av världens största tillverkare av grafikkretsar, tillsammans med Intel och nVidia. ATI Technologies ägs numera av processortillverkaren AMD.

ATI Technologies
ATI Technologies Inc. (gdzie ATI jest skrótem od Array Technologies Incorporated) – to kanadyjski producent układów scalonych, znany głównie ze swoich kart graficznych. Notowany na giełdach w Toronto i NASDAQ.
ATI udało się przełamać monopol NVIDII na akceleratory 3D do komputerów typu desktop, wprowadzając na rynek, jako konkurencję dla kart GeForce, karty graficzne serii Rage, a później dużo wydajniejsze Radeony. W 1998 roku firma ATI przejęła firmę Tseng Labs. Około roku 2003 ATI zaczęło sprzedawać swoje chipsety do płyt głównych (mostki południowy/północny), a wcześniej dostarczała zintegrowane układy graficzne.
