Old Norse, the Æsir (singular Ás, feminine Ásynja, feminine plural Ásynjur,
Anglo-Saxon Ós, from
Proto-Germanic *Ansuz) are the principal gods of the
pantheon of
Norse mythology. They include many of the major figures, such as
Odin,
Frigg,
Thor,
Baldr and
Tyr. A second clan of gods, the
Vanir, is also mentioned in the Norse mythos: the god
Njord and his children,
Freyr and
Freyja, are the most prominent Vanir gods who join the Æsir as hostages after a war between Æsir and Vanir. The Vanir appear to have mainly been connected with cultivation and fertility and the Æsir were connected with power and war.

Das Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA), auch bekannt als Aktives
Phased-Array-Radar bildet ein
Radar-System mit aktiver elektronischer Strahlschwenkung. Seine Funktion basiert auf vielen einzelnen, kleinen Sende-/Empfangsmodulen. Die Ausrichtung sowie Bündelung des Radarstrahls erfolgt wie bei passiven Phased-Array-Radar (PESA) Systemen durch die Phasenverschiebung zwischen den einzelnen Modulen auf der Antennenfläche. Ein AESA Radar hat somit die gleichen Eigenschaften und Vorteile wie ein passives phased-array Radar. Der Unterschied besteht darin, dass hier jedes Modul einen eigenen
HF-Generator hat, während die passive Variante eine gemeinsame HF-Quelle einsetzt, deren Signal über digital-gesteuerte phase-shift Module modifiziert wird. Die Speiseleitungen von der Wanderfeldröhre zu den Phasenschiebern entfallen bei AESA Systemen, wodurch diese kompakter zu bauen sind. Der schaltungstechnische Aufwand ist allerdings bei AESA insgesamt größer.

nordischen Mythologie. Das ältere Geschlecht wird
Wanen (altnord. Vanir, Sg. Vanr) genannt.Nach der
Jüngeren Edda wohnen zwölf Asen in
Asgard (Sitz der Götter). Sie herrschen über die Welt und die Menschen, allerdings beschränkt durch das Schicksal, das nur die
Nornen im vollen Umfang kennen. Ihnen werden Eigenschaften wie Stärke, Macht und Kraft zugeschrieben. Sie sind weitgehend vermenschlicht, haben also einen irdischen Alltag. Wie die Menschen sind sie sterblich. Nur durch die Äpfel der
Idun halten sie sich jung, bis fast alle von ihnen zur
Ragnarök getötet werden.
