Nauru International Airport
Nauru International Airport is the sole
airport of the
Pacific island
Republic of
Nauru. It is located in the
Yaren district. The airport's
ICAO airport code was formerly ANAU. In 2005, Nauru International Airport was closed when Air Nauru ceased operation when its only 737-400 was seized by the court of Melbourne, Australia. The airport was reopened in 2006 when Air Nauru (now Our Airline) resumed operations with a new 737-300.
