Das Abfallentsorgungs-Informations-System (Kurz AiS) ist eine datenbankbasierte Software und dient zur rationalen Organisation in der Entsorgungslogistik. Der USB Umweltservice Bochum GmbH hat das AiS (Abfallentsorgungs-Informationssystem) der Firma iS-infoSoft GmbH im Juli 2004 übernommen. Er erhielt damit die vollständigen Eigentümerrechte an der Software. Die Weiterentwicklung, Pflege und Wartung übernimmt die Firma Insert GmbH als Kooperationspartner des USB.

Automated Import System. The objective of the Automated Import System (AIS) is to ensure that import operations starting in one Member State can be completed in another Member State without re-submission of the same information. This includes the exchange of electronic messages related to the different stages of the operations amongst the various actors (customs, traders and other governmental administrations).
