AEROPONICS

Aeroponics is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment without the use of soil or an aggregate media. Aeroponic culture differs from both hydroponics and in-vitro (Plant tissue culture) growing. Unlike hydroponics, which uses water as a growing medium and essential minerals to sustain plant growth, aeroponics is conducted without a growing medium.

L'aéroponie est l'un des fronts de recherche les plus récents et prometteurs dans le secteur des cultures horticoles et floricoles en environnement protégé. Elle est comparable à son ancêtre, l'hydroponie à la différence que, en hydroponie, les plantes sont sur un substrat inerte (de type argex, pouzzolane ou pumice), irriguée à intervalles réguliers et dans lequel l'alimentation se fait par apport régulier d'une solution nutritive (recyclée ou pas).

Aeroponika - system produkcji roślinnej bez zastosowania środowiska stałego (uprawa ziemna) lub ciekłego (hydroponika).Rośliny umieszczone są w płytach z tworzyw sztucznych, tak że ich korzenie znajdują się w powietrzu. Woda i sole mineralne są rozpylane bezpośrednio na korzenie roślin w postaci aerozolu. Optymalnie wytworzone sztuczne siedlisko pozwala na uzyskiwanie szybkiego wzrostu i rozwoju roślin. W szkółkarstwie aeroponika umożliwia łatwe przesadzanie roślin bez uszkadzania systemu korzeniowego. Wadą aeroponiki są wysokie koszty i skomplikowana elektroniczna aparatura. Dlatego stosowana jest tylko w produkcji roślin unikatowych.
