La compagnie ACME (ACME Corporation) est une société fictive qui existe dans l'univers Looney Tunes. Elle a été fondée par le personnel de la Warner Bros travaillant à Termite Terrace. Les premiers produits à sortir des usines sont des bouchons de liège et sont vus pour la première fois en 1933 dans le dessin animé Buddy's Bug Hunt. La compagnie ACME réapparait dans un dessin animé de Eggbert avec un kit pour apprendre la boxe par correspondance. Toutefois, la plupart des produits sont vus dans les dessins animés Bip Bip et Coyote. C'est dans cette série que l'entreprise prendra sa renommée. Prenant en considération le nombre de commandes effectuées par Vil Coyote, produits défectueux y compris, on présume qu'il est le meilleur client de la compagnie.

ACME wird im englischen Sprachraum gern analog zum fiktiven Personennamen John Doe (zu Deutsch ungefähr Otto Normalverbraucher oder Max Mustermann) als fiktiver Name für eine Körperschaft in Beispielfällen – z. B. bei juristischen Fragen – verwendet.Der Begriff wurde mit den Zeichentrickfilmen der Warner Bros. und Disney, insbesondere der Road Runner-Reihe, bekannt und steht für ein fiktives Unternehmen. Um nicht mit dem US-amerikanischen Markenrecht in Konflikt zu kommen, haben die Zeichner ein Unternehmen erfunden, das alle Gegenstände produziert, welche in den Filmen benötigt werden. Von alltäglichen Dingen wie Kleidung und Zahnpasta bis hin zu ausgefallenen Sachen wie Taschenraketen und Laserkanonen gibt es nichts, was ACME nicht herstellt. Es gibt Andeutungen in verschiedenen Warner Bros. Zeichentrickserien, dass Acme vom Road Runner betrieben wird (z. B. in Road Runner: To Beep or not to Beep, Freeze Frame; Tiny Toon in einem Gerichtsverfahren). Erst später interpretierte man das Wort ACME als Backronym für A Company that Manufactures Everything (Eine Firma, die alles herstellt) oder auch American Company that Manufactures Everything. Eine weitere, auch den tertiären Sektor abdeckende Leseart ist A Company Making Everything (Ein Unternehmen, das alles macht).
