ACLA

Acla was a Spanish colonial town founded by order of the Governor of Castilla de Oro, Pedrarias Dávila, in 1515. It was located on the central coastline of the modern-day Kuna Yala, to the northeast of Panamá. The town's name means bones of men in the indigenous language. The name comes from the large number of bones strewn about the nearby plains, which supposedly came from the conflicts between two indigenous brothers who fought to become chiefs of the region.

The Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) is an organization based in Western Pennsylvania that strives to provide Allegheny County's residents with the premier library system in the state. Formed in 1991, as an effort to encourage county libraries to collaborate and share resources, ACLA became recognized as a non-profit in 1994. ACLA is based in Pittsburgh's West End neighborhood.

El nombre del pueblo es de origen indígena y significaba huesos de hombres, debido a la gran cantidad de huesos esparcidos en las llanuras cercanas, debido a las disputas de dos hermanos indígenas que luchaban entre sí para ser caciques de la comarca.
