Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego (ABW) - agencja zajmująca się wewnętrznym bezpieczeństwem państwa polskiego, m.in. kontrwywiadem  i zwalczaniem terroryzmu na terenie kraju, ogólnej ochrony RP i jej porządku konstytucyjnego.Utworzona 29 czerwca 2002, Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego, powstała po rozwiązaniu Urzędu Ochrony Państwa, w miejsce którego utworzono dwie odrębne agencje: Agencję Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego oraz Agencję Wywiadu.
