ABT, commonly referred to as ABT-2, is a television station in Hobart, Tasmania owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It began broadcasting on 4 June, 1960, with studios in inner city Hobart and a transmitter at Mount Wellington. ABC News Tasmania is presented by Peter Gee from Hobart. Weather is presented by Jaci Brown, while finance is presented nationally by Alan Kohler and sport Peter Wilkins.
