ab- (also abs- before certain consonants) is a particle, most often a prefix, that occurs in many languages. In Latin it was both a prefix and a preposition meaning "off, away (from), departing from, outside of" and expressed the idea of removal, absence, separation, or a lower value. It first appeared in English in the Middle English period in words borrowed from Old French, and continued to be borrowed in Modern French words and eventually from Classical Latin, especially in the vocabulary of science, medicine, botany, and so on.

The All Blacks are New Zealand's national rugby union team. Rugby union is New Zealand's national sport. The All Blacks a formidable power in international rugby, achieving a winning record against all nations including the British and Irish Lions and the World XV. LAntiblockiersystem, abrégé en 'ABS (terme allemand que l'on peut traduire par « système anti-blocage »), est un système d'assistance au freinage utilisé sur les véhicules roulants, empêchant les roues de se bloquer pendant les périodes de freinage intense. Die neuseeländische Rugby-Union-Nationalmannschaft der Männer vertritt Neuseeland auf internationaler Ebene in der Sportart Rugby Union. Sie ist weitaus bekannter unter ihrem Spitznamen All Blacks, weil die Spieler ganz in Schwarz gekleidet sind (die Spieler werden gelegentlich auch als Men in Black bezeichnet). Rugby Union ist Neuseelands Nationalsport und die All Blacks gelten als beste Mannschaft der Welt, da sie gegen jedes andere Land eine positive Bilanz aufweisen.
