ABBA
ABBA was a Swedish pop/rock group formed in Stockholm in 1972, comprising Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. They became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of pop music, topping the charts worldwide from 1972 to 1982. They are also known for winning the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, giving Sweden its first victory in the history of the contest and being the most successful group ever to take part in the contest.

ABBA
ABBA war eine schwedische Popgruppe der 1970er und frühen 1980er Jahre und eine der weltweit populärsten Musikgruppen dieser Zeit. Mit mehr als 370 Millionen verkauften Tonträgern gehört ABBA zu den erfolgreichsten Bands der Musikgeschichte.

ABBA
ABBA est une formation musicale suédoise fondée à Stockholm en novembre 1970 par Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus et Anni-Frid Lyngstad (dite Frida), qui a vendu à ce jour plus de 400 millions de formats musicaux (2008). Les initiales des 4 prénoms formant l'acronyme et palindrome ABBA, ce n'est qu'en 1976 que le désormais célèbre logo (avec un B inversé) sera utilisé (ce logo est un ambigramme).

ABBA
ABBA - szwedzki zespół muzyczny działający w latach 1972-1982, którego szczyt popularności przypada na lata siedemdziesiąte i początek lat osiemdziesiątych XX stulecia.
Zespół utworzyli w 1972 Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Agnetha Fältskog i Anni-Frid (Frida) Lyngstad stanowiący dwa małżeństwa (A. Fältskog i B. Ulvaeus 1971-1978 oraz A. Lyngstad i B. Andersson 1978-1981). Nazwa zespołu, przyjęta w 1974, stanowi akronim pierwszych liter imion jego członków.
Ważną osobą w historii zespołu był Stig Anderson, przedsiębiorczy menadżer zespołu, architekt jego międzynarodowego sukcesu, a także autor tekstów do niektórych piosenek w początkowym okresie.
