The Archipelago of the Azores ( , ; , ) is composed of nine volcanic islands situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, and is located about west of Lisbon and about southeast of Newfoundland. The islands, and their economic exclusion zone, form the Autonomous Region of the Azores, one of the two autonomous regions of Portugal. Its main industries are: agriculture, dairy farming (for cheese and butter products primarily), livestock ranching, fishing and tourism, which is becoming the major service activity in the region; added to which, the government of the Azores employs a large percentage of the population directly or indirectly in many aspects of the service and tertiary sectors.

Die Azoren (port. Ilhas dos Açores [], zu deutsch: Habichtsinseln) sind eine Gruppe von neun größeren und mehreren kleineren portugiesischen Atlantikinseln, die etwa 1500 km westlich vom europäischen Festland und 3600 km östlich von Nordamerika liegen.

Les Açores sont un groupe d'îles portugaises qui se trouvent au centre de l'océan Atlantique, à environ  km de Lisbonne et du Maroc et  km de la côte est de l'Amérique du Nord.

Azorerna (portugisiska Açores) är en portugisisk autonom ögrupp som ligger i Atlanten, ungefär 1 500 kilometer från Lissabon och 3 900 kilometer från Nordamerikas östkust.

Azory (Açores) – archipelag dziewięciu wysp wulkanicznych należących do Portugalii, położony ok. 1500 km od wybrzeży Półwyspu Iberyjskiego. Na przestrzeni 650 km rozciągają się trzy główne grupy wysp (grupa zachodnia: Flores i Corvo, grupa centralna: Faial, Pico, São Jorge, Graciosa i Terceira, grupa wschodnia: São Miguel i Santa Maria). Zróżnicowana rzeźba terenu ze stromymi, skalistymi wybrzeżami i jeziorami kraterowymi to świadectwo wulkanicznego pochodzenia wysp. Archipelag jest nadal obszarem aktywnym sejsmicznie.
