皮膚
皮膚（ひふ）とは、動物の器官のひとつで、体の表面をおおっている層のこと。体の内外を区切り、その境をなす構造である。皮膚と毛、爪、羽毛、鱗など、それに付随する構造（器官）とをあわせて、外皮系という器官系としてまとめて扱う場合がある。また、動物種によっては、皮膚感覚を伝える感覚器の働きも持っている場合がある。
高等脊椎動物では表皮、真皮、皮下組織から構成されるが、表皮・真皮のみを指し、皮下組織を含めない場合もある。
