方位
方位（ほうい）とは、ある地点における水平面内の方向を、基準となる方向との関係で表した物。又は、基準となる幾つかの方向に付けた名称である。方角（ほうがく）もほぼ同義である。平面上では、東・西・南・北の四方向を基準として、周角を八等分、十六等分した物が用いられる。 立体上では、東・西・南・北・天・地の六方向が基準となる。 尚、これらのいずれにも属せず、観測点となる方位を中央という。
