元朝
元朝（1271年—1368年），是中國歷史上的一個朝代，由蒙古族統治者忽必烈（即元世祖）於1271年所建，国号大元，1279年灭南宋，定都于大都（今北京市）。1368年朱元璋建立明朝，并于同年进行的北伐中推翻了元朝。北迁的元政府后退居漠北，与明军对峙，史称北元。
