Powerful and strong player. He is very resolute and dominant in the play with a head. He was a captain of FC Hajduk Split. Began his career with hometown club FC Neretva. In the middle of the 80's he signed for Hajduk where he played until 91. Then he joined Cadiz CF in Spain, again Hajduk from 94 until 96, and finally Derby County in 96.
