Île-de-France
Die Île-de-France [] ist eine Region in Nordfrankreich, die größtenteils mit dem Ballungsraum Paris identisch ist. Daher ist sie auch die bei weitem bevölkerungsreichste Region Frankreichs. Sie hat eine Fläche von 12.012 km² und 11.694.000 Einwohner (Januar 2008).

Île-de-France
L’Île-de-France est aujourd'hui une des 26 régions françaises, et était sous l'Ancien Régime une province française, dont l'usage du nom fut aboli à la Révolution au profit de l'appellation « Région parisienne », mais est réutilisé officiellement depuis 1975. Aujourd'hui l'Ile-de-France regroupe huit départements : Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Paris, Seine-Saint-Denis, Seine-et-Marne, Val-de-Marne, Val-d'Oise, Yvelines que l'on tend parfois abusivement à confondre avec l'agglomération de Paris qui ne s'étend pourtant que sur 20 % de sa surface, mais qui représente néanmoins 90 % de sa population.

Île-de-France
Île-de-France (czyt. il də frãs; dosłownie: wyspa Francji), region francuski – jest największą aglomeracją we Francji, na którą składa się 8 departamentów: Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Paris (Paryż), Seine-Saint-Denis, Seine-et-Marne, Val-de-Marne, Val-d'Oise i Yvelines.
Powierzchnia aglomeracji wynosi ponad 12 012 km², jest najbardziej zaludnionym obszarem Francji: na 1 km² przypadało w 2006 roku 957 mieszkańców. Île-de-France skupia 19% ludności kraju. Zabudowa podmiejska jest tak gęsta, że często zmiana administracyjnej przynależności danego miejsca jest zauważalna tylko dzięki oznakowaniu.
