Écosse

Scotland (Gaelic: Alba, Scots: Scotland) is a nation in northwest Europe and one of the four constituent countries of the United Kingdom. It occupies the northern third of the island of Great Britain and shares a land border to the south with England. It is bounded by the North Sea to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the southwest. Apart from the mainland, Scotland consists of over 790 islands.

Obejmuje północną część wyspy Wielkiej Brytanii oraz Hebrydy, Orkady i Szetlandy. Od południa graniczy z Anglią. Krajobraz w przeważającej części wyżynny i górski. Klimat umiarkowanie ciepły, wybitnie morski. Na północy Szkocji Góry Kaledońskie i Grampiany, na południu Wyżyna Południowoszkocka. W centrum niewielka Nizina Środkowoszkocka skupiająca większą część ludności.

Ecosse is een merk van motorfietsen, en tevens de Franse benaming van SchotlandEcosse is een Amerikaans bedrijf dat in 2001 werd opgericht door voormalig coureur Donald Atchison. Men produceert er specials met eigen grote V-twin-blokken. In 2005 werd bijvoorbeeld de "Heretic" gepresenteerd, een sportieve naked bike met een motorblok van Patrick Racing.
